Performance Insights
Turn your finished matches into patterns, trends, and answers about your game.
What insights show you
Performance Insights surface the patterns running across your matches. They work best once you've checked and finished your matches, because a finished match is data you can actually trust.
What insights can show
Insights can show you things like:
- How your rallies tend to end.
- Which shots you lean on most.
- Where your errors come from.
- Your stronger and weaker shots.
- How your game shifts over time.
- What to work on in training.
What you see depends on how much match data you've built up.
Ask GGAB
Your dashboard comes with an assistant called Ask GGAB, and you can ask it questions about your matches. You'll get the best answers when you ask something specific, for example:
- "What patterns show up in my recent losses?"
- "Which shots cause me the most errors?"
- "What should I work on before my next singles match?"
- "Compare my recent matches to my all-time game."

Your weekly digest
If you track new matches during the week, we send you a weekly read on your game — once in the app and once by email, every Monday.
The digest pulls together how your numbers are trending, where your biggest gaps to pro-level play are, and what to work on next, and it points out what you're already doing well. If you didn't play that week, we send you a short note instead of an empty report.
Getting better results
Your insights get more trustworthy as you finish more matches. One match is still useful, but more matches make the patterns much stronger.
A few habits that help:
- Mark matches done after you check them.
- Keep your player setup the same each time.
- Use clear segments when you only track part of a video.
- Fix returned matches before you send them again.
- Treat a small amount of data as a hint, not the whole story.
Why an insight might be empty
If a chart comes up empty, you usually just don't have enough finished matches yet. Finish a few more, then head back to the dashboard or Performance Insights.
Keeping your data fresh
Your insights come straight from your match data, so if you change a match after it's done, open it for review, make your change, and mark it done again.
The insights pages
Performance Insights is made up of a few pages:
- Dashboard — your home summary and Ask GGAB.
- Match Breakdown — look closely at one match, with video.
- Trends Over Time — follow one number across many matches.
- Pro Comparisons — compare two players, including pros.
