Match Tracker

Set up a match, send it for tracking, and check the rallies and shots.

What you'll use Match Tracker for

Match Tracker is where you turn a match video into data. From one place you can watch the video, set up the players, send the match for tracking, check the results, and mark the match done.

Come to Match Tracker whenever you want to:

  • Send a match for tracking.
  • Check a match that's finished.
  • Fix rallies, shots, or points.
  • Mark a match done so it feeds your insights.

Create a project

Open Match Tracker, create a new project, and pick the video you want to work with. From there, fill in the setup so we know how to read the match.

The setup asks you for:

  • Singles or doubles.
  • The player names and where they stand on court.
  • Which hand each player uses.
  • A clear photo of each player from the video.
  • Segments, if you only want part of the video tracked.

A segment is the part of the video you want us to track, so add segments when you want to skip warmup, breaks, dead time, or footage after the match.

Send the match for tracking

Inside the editor, choose Track Match Automatically to send your match to the queue. We'll ask you to confirm first, and on that screen we'll show you:

  • The token cost.
  • Your token balance.
  • Roughly how long it will take, when we can estimate it.

If you don't have enough tokens, we'll tell you how many more you need and link you straight to where you can buy them.

Check the results

When your match comes back finished, open it and compare the data against the video. You can fix anything you like before you mark it done.

Here's what we'd suggest checking:

  • Do the rallies start and end at the right time?
  • Are the shots in the right order?
  • Are the winners, errors, and points correct?
  • Is each shot tied to the right player?
  • Do you want to add a note about a key moment?

Mark a project done

Mark a match done only once the data looks right to you. A finished match counts as complete, and it starts powering your dashboard and insights.

If you need to send a finished match for tracking again, just open it for review first.
