Project Review and Returned Matches

Learn what each project status means, how to check your data, and how to fix a returned match.

What each status means

Every match moves through a few stages, and the status tells you where yours is right now.

StatusWhat it means
Draft or reviewYou can edit the setup, rallies, shots, and notes.
PendingYou've sent it, and it's waiting in the queue.
In progressWe've started tracking it.
Final reviewWe're checking it before it comes back to you.
ErrorSomething needs fixing before it can go on.
FinalizedIt's done and ready to feed your insights.

While tracking is running

After you send a match, the editor swaps to a waiting panel instead of the usual tools. If your match is still pending, you can usually cancel it — but once we start tracking, you can't cancel anymore.

If the players need fixing before we start, you can still open the setup from that waiting panel.

Check a finished match

When a match comes back finished, open it and look it over before you mark it done.

Sample data — reviewing a finished match in the editor before marking it done.

We'd recommend you check that:

  • The rallies start and end at the right time.
  • Each shot is tied to the right player.
  • The winners, errors, and points are correct.
  • Any notes you want are there.
  • The data matches what you see in the video.

If a match comes back with an error

Sometimes our team sends a match back to you. When that happens, the project opens with an Action needed banner that tells you exactly what to fix.

Most of the time, you'll need to:

  • Fix the player setup.
  • Adjust the segments.
  • Recheck footage that was hard to see.
  • Correct a setup detail that stopped tracking.

Once you've made the changes, choose Resubmit for review on the project page and we'll pick it back up.

Finished matches

A finished match counts as complete, so it powers your dashboard and your insights.

You can't send a finished match for tracking again as it is — open it for review first, make your changes, and then send it.
